India To Develop Its Own 5th Gen Fighter Aircraft ‘AMCA’, Project Worth ₹15k Cr Begins

The Cabinet Committee on Security has approved the DRDO's project to develop the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA), a fifth-generation stealth fighter jet. The project, estimated at around Rs 15,000 crore, aims to design and develop the aircraft along with its technologies in partnership with private and public sector agencies. The AMCA project is expected to create numerous job opportunities and boost the indigenous military industry.
