In an exclusive interview with India Today, prominent Supreme Court lawyer J Sai Deepak discussed the potential name change of India to Bharat. It is reported that the government is considering introducing a resolution during the upcoming special session of Parliament, scheduled from September 18-22, to rename India as Bharat. While the current Constitution of India refers to the country as "India, that is Bharat", there is a growing movement to simplify it to just "Bharat." This proposed amendment has gained momentum, indicating a possible official name change in the near future.
