In Karnataka, political turmoil escalates as Chief Minister Siddaramaiah faces mounting pressure over allegations of improper land allotment to his wife by the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA). Recently, BJP protests demanding Siddaramaiah's resignation echoed outside the Vidhana Soudha, with demonstrators brandishing placards and chanting slogans. Despite the controversy, Siddaramaiah remains defiant, dismissing calls for his resignation. Congress leaders, including DK Shivakumar, have rallied behind him, labeling the situation a political conspiracy and vowing legal and political resistance. The uproar follows a court directive to initiate a case against Siddaramaiah, his wife, and others involved, with the High Court endorsing further investigation by the Lokayukta police.
