Infosys founder Narayana Murthy said he was “completely wrong” in not allowing the family members of promoters-founders to take up active roles at the company. The move, if it were allowed, would have eased the succession process, he added. Murthy said he was worried that some people may install underserving candidates in important positions and that he wanted the future of the company to be strong.
