As Delhi struggles with worsening air quality, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has proposed a shift to CNG-powered transportation to combat the pollution crisis. Addressing the issue, Gadkari also highlighted the importance of creating an ethanol ecosystem to promote cleaner and greener alternatives. This proposal comes as Delhi experiences thick smog and an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 274, categorized as "poor." The minister emphasized the need for sustainable solutions, including biofuels and electric vehicles, to address the capital's pollution woes while driving India towards self-reliance and sustainable development.
