Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan's strategic alliance with TDP and BJP has paid off spectacularly, boosting Chandrababu Naidu's return as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Known as the 'power star,' Kalyan's Jana Sena Party emerged as the second largest, winning all 21 seats it contested and pushing the incumbent YSRCP to third position. Kalyan himself secured a victory in the Pithapuram Assembly constituency, defeating YSRCP's Vanga Geetha Viswanath. Celebrations erupted at Kalyan's residence, highlighting his crucial role in securing votes from the Kapu community in the coastal belt. Despite TDP's ability to form the government independently, they are unlikely to sideline Kalyan, who now stands poised for significant influence in Andhra Pradesh politics.
