Piyush Goyal Announces Landmark Agreement For Internationalization Of RuPay Card With UAE

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal to ANI says, "We have today concluded two very important agreements. One, an agreement between the NPCI and the United Arab Emirates by which they will be providing technology and support to UAE to implement the RuPay card system in UAE such that the UAE card can be used in India as a RuPay card and all RuPay card owners in India when they travel to UAE can use the RuPay card in the UAE. This is the internationalisation of the RuPay card. This opens the doors for many such partnerships for NPCI and is truly a game changer in terms of integrating business and thebusinessof India and the UAE."
