Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the United States from September 21st to 23rd, 2024. His first stop will be Wilmington, Delaware, the hometown of President Joe Biden, where he will attend the 6th Quad Summit. This summit will also serve as a significant farewell event for President Biden and Prime Minister Fumio Kishida of Japan, offering PM Modi the chance to express gratitude for their leadership in advancing the Quad partnership.Following the Quad Summit, PM Modi will travel to New York to participate in the Summit of the Future at the United Nations General Assembly on September 23rd. During this visit, PM Modi will engage with the Indian diaspora and business leaders, including a roundtable focused on artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and biotechnology.In addition, PM Modi will hold a bilateral meeting with President Biden to review the comprehensive global strategic partnership between India and the US, which encompasses over 50 bilateral engagements and dialogue mechanisms. The visit will also involve discussions on new agreements related to the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the India-U.S. Drug Framework.India will host the next Quad leaders summit in 2025, a decision influenced by the request from the United States to exchange the hosting of the summit.
