The BJP is facing internal dissent in Haryana after releasing its list of 67 candidates, which led to the exclusion of 7 sitting MLAs, including 3 ministers. Energy and Jails Minister Ranjit Chautala resigned and announced his independent candidacy. Industrialist Savitri Jindal and MLA Lakshman Napa also quit, with Jindal planning to contest from Hisar and Napa in talks with Congress. The BJP's ticket distribution has caused frustration among several leaders, including Olympic wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt, who expressed disappointment on social media. Meanwhile, the party remains hopeful of winning over the rebels.
