Amidst the ongoing political battle between Prime Minister Modi and Congress leaders, the rhetoric continues to intensify. During a public rally in Karnataka's Ballari, PM Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress party. Accusing them of engaging in vote bank politics, he alleged that the Congress has developed close ties with the Popular Front of India (PFI), an organization banned by the Centre. In his address, PM Modi also criticized the Siddaramaiah government for initially downplaying the seriousness of the Rameshwaram cafe blast, likening it to a mere cylinder explosion. He emphasized that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) later revealed the true nature of the incident. Turning his attention to the UPA era, PM Modi asserted that prior to 2014, there were frequent bomb blasts across the country. He vowed to take strong action against those with a mentality supportive of such violence. The exchange of barbs between the Prime Minister and Congress leaders underscores the heightened tensions in the political landscape, with both sides seeking to gain an upper hand ahead of upcoming elections.
