Uday Kotak Resigns As Kotak Mahindra Bank MD & CEO, Dipak Gupta Takes Interim Charge

The last of the four pillars of Indian private banking has hung up his boots. Uday Kotak put in his papers as the MD and CEO of the Kotak Mahindra Bank… a bank he founded 38 years ago in November of 1985. The 64-year-old Kotak had set out to be a cricketer, but found calling and built his own massive fan base on a very different pitch.
