Why Did Maruti Choose Gujarat For The New Plant?

Maruti Suzuki is set to invest ₹35,000 crores in establishing its second manufacturing facility in Gujarat. Speaking at the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in Gandhinagar, Suzuki Motor Corporation President Toshihiro Suzuki expressed the company's ambition to increase annual production capacity to over 40 lakh units.The new plant,  with an installed production capacity of 10 lakh units per annum, is anticipated to commence operations in the financial year 2028-29.
