
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said Japan’s investment interest in the state is now moving from MoUs to ground-breaking projects. He revealed that during his Japan visit, investors submitted proposals worth over ₹1.5 lakh crore, with MoUs worth around ₹1 lakh crore. A ₹2,000-crore automobile investment proposal is set for ground-breaking, while opportunities are also emerging in robotics, hydrogen energy and manufacturing. Yogi highlighted UP’s 75,000-acre land bank and 36 sectoral policies designed to attract investors. A large Japanese delegation will visit Delhi, Noida, Agra, Lucknow and Varanasi as part of its investment and business engagement with Uttar Pradesh.
