'Not walking the talk is the worst thing a leader can do'

Here's a little peek into the success mantra of SBI chairman O.P. Bhatt.
My leadership style: Delegative and participative
The leadership lesson I remember best: Leadership is conviction and courage tempered with humility and hope.
The political leader I admire the most: Martin Luther King Jr. I have always been inspired by his “I have a dream” speech.
My biggest test as a leader was: Getting 2 lakh employees at SBI to ‘buy into’ our Transformation Exercise.
A book or movie I would recommend on leadership: Jim Collins’ Good to Great is one of my favourites. As for movies, Chak de India is outstanding.
What I think is the difference between a manager and a leader: What sets a leader apart from a manager is his all encompassing vision and his ability to communicate the vision to all levels in the organisation.
The worst thing a leader can do: Not walking the talk.
