Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) on June 7 launched its first sub-four metres compact sedan Verito Vibe. Priced between Rs 5.69 lakh and Rs 6.55 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), Verito Vibe is powered by Renault's 1.5 litre DCI diesel engine which gives a mileage of 20.8 km per litre.
Car maker Ford on June 26 launched its much-awaited compact sports utility vehicle EcoSport in India priced at Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). EcoSport is available with three engine options of 1 litre petrol with Ecoboost technology, 1.5 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engine.
Honda Cars India launched new variants of its small car Brio, priced starting Rs 4.12 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) on May 7 2013. The upgrades include features such as driver seat height adjuster and rear windshield defogger.
Japanese auto firm Honda Motor launched its much-awaited entry level sedan Amaze on April 12. Honda's Amaze was priced between Rs 4.99 lakh to Rs 7.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The model is the company's first diesel offering in India.
Hyundai Motor India on March 5 launched a special edition of its compact car i10, priced at Rs 4.24 lakh and Rs 4.57 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The special edition i10 or 'i Tech' is available with engine options of 1.1 litre and 1.2 litre.
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) on July 8 launched its sports car Jaguar F TYPE in India, priced up to Rs 1.61 crore (ex-showroom Mumbai). The sports car is available in two variants. The F Type V8S, powered by a 5-litre petrol engine, is priced at Rs 1.61 crore (ex-showroom Mumbai) while the F TYPE S, with a V6 3-litre petrol engine, is available for Rs 1.37 crore (ex-showroom Mumbai).
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) on December 5 launched the new version of its luxury sports utility vehicle Land Cruiser Prado in India. The new Prado is priced at Rs 84.87 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). The Prado has a multi-terrain select, a system that allows driver to choose between various road condition modes such as rock, rock and dirt, loose rock, and mud and sand.
Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) launched a compact car Stingray on August 22 , priced between Rs 4.1 lakh and Rs 4.67 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Stingray is a souped version of WagonR. The car is powered by a 998 cc petrol engine, is available in three variants.
Mercedes Benz on June 25 launched its new E Class model in India, priced between Rs 41.51 lakh and Rs 44.48 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The E Class is available in both petrol and diesel options. While the petrol version is powered by a 2 litre engine, the diesel model has a 2.2 litre engine.
British sports car maker Aston Martin on December 21 launched the four-door Rapide S, the new variant of Rapide in India. The Rs 4.4 crore, ex-show room Mumbai, Rapide S replaced the Rapide in markets worldwide.
