German carmaker Mercedes-Benz on September 3, 2015 launched the new AMG C63S in India at prices starting from Rs 1.3 crore (ex-showroom price Delhi).
The car is a powerful high-end rear-wheel drive sports car powered by a 4 litre V8 bi-turbo engine, developing an output of 375 kW (510 hp) making the V8 model the most powerful car in its segment.
The C63 S is a high performance version of the standard C-Class sedan. The car has a 7-speed AMG Speedshift gearbox with five settings: Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Race and Individual.
The engine produces 510PS of power at 5500-6250rpm and a maximum torque of 714Nm at 1750-4500rpm. The C 63 S Saloon is the most economical eight-cylinder car in the high-performance segment.
The AMG Ride Control sports suspension with electronically controlled shock absorbers, the mechanical rear axle locking differential and the AMG Dynamic Select transmission modes raise the driving dynamics to a new level.
