Here's a look at the new Yamaha YZF-R6

The YZF-R6 is without a doubt one of the most popular and extreme supersport bikes that Yamaha has ever built.

The 2017 YZF-R6 comes with a sleeker profile that gives it an updated look while still maintaining the Yamaha R-series styling element.

The R6 comes with nice compact and lightweight 599cc DOHCliquid-cooled four-cylinder engine. Sixteen titanium valves, a high 13.1:1compression ratio and lightweight forged pistons assure a smooth vibration-freerevving experience.

The instrument cluster on the new YZF-R6 features acombination of analog and digital LCD instrument which is capable ofdisplaying enough information in one go.

The bike offers three modes of driving, Standard Mode, "A" Mode, and"B" Mode. Which can be changed by a simple push of a button.

A new rear caliper supports the front system, and to assurea uniform and efficient breaking system, Yamaha has provided ABS as standard.

The bike has sold 160,000 units in Europe and having said that it also is a great track performer. The R6 won the World Supersport Championship 3 times in the last 7 years.
