Air India flights to New York and Newark
have been severely disrupted on account of
Hurricane Sandy, which has hit eastern parts of the US.
The Air India Mumbai-Newark flight AI-191/192 and Delhi-New York flight AI-101/102 scheduled for Tuesday were indefinitely delayed due to closure of airports in New York and Newark.
Rescheduled flights
will operate subject to clearances from the appropriate US authorities.
An airline official said passengers scheduled to
travel on these flights to US should contact the Air India office for further information.
