Private sector lender
ICICI Bank on Friday reported a 53 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 1,667 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.
The bank had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,091 crore for the April-June quarter last fiscal, ICICI said in a statement.
Total income of the bank on a consolidated basis increased to Rs 14,749.7 crore during the quarter, compared to Rs 13,535.3 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, it said.
On standalone basis, net profit of the bank increased by 30 per cent to Rs 1,332 crore during the quarter from Rs 1,026 crore for the same period an year ago.
