
The prices of petrol have increased by more than Rs 25 sinceJuly 25, 2010 - the day governmentdecided to allow market forces to dictate the pricing of the essential fuel.
Below is a chronological list of the increase in the cost ofpetrol in Indiaover the past two years.
Interestingly,prices have been increased 13 times,while they have gone down on only two occassions.
