
IT bellwether Infosys Technologies on Friday reported 13.15 per cent growth in consolidated net profit at Rs 1,737 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.
The company had a net profit of Rs 1,535 crore in the September quarter of the previous fiscal (2009-10), Infosys said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The consolidated revenue of the country's second largest software exporter rose to Rs 6,947 crore against Rs 5,585 crore over the year-ago period.
The board has proposed an interim dividend of Rs 10 per equity share on the face value of Rs 5 each and a 30th year special dividend of Rs 30 per equity share.
On the standalone basis, the company has reported a growth of 14.11 per cent in its net profit at Rs 1,641 crore, over the same period previous fiscal.
Revenues rose to Rs 6,673 crore in the July-September quarter, against Rs 5,433 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
Shares of Infosys on Friday morning were trading at Rs 3,184.25, up by 1.05 per cent on BSE.
