Watch: How glass is made stronger

Many products such as car shields, railings, lighting bulbs are made of toughened glass. Raw or annealed glass pass through different processes, including exposure to high temperature in a furnace. Toughening or tempering makes raw glass four to five times stronger and safer. After the toughening process, glass pieces are laminated with PVB sheets.
