After 'swadeshi jeans', can Ramdev give us 'sanskari skirts'?

Giving Levis and Calvin Klein a run for their money, Baba Ramdev has has announced his pioneering venture into the garments market with 'swadeshi jeans' innovation.

As if that wasn't threatening enough, Raymond should probably watch out as the Baba plans to start his line of office clothing as well.

Babaeconomics is indeed changing the fashion industry with his power of yoga.

Rumour has it that his clothing line will be called 'Paridhaan'.

Ramdev is all set to keep up with the fashion joneses and bring his unique style to Paridhaan.

What started off with a couple of Patanjali followers asking for Yoga wear has turned into a full fledged clothing concept. 

"Just because I am a baba does not mean we cannot marry modernity with spirituality, we can make, let's say desi jeans," Baba Ramdev said.

While we wait for swadeshi jeans to hit the market, it has created a storm on Twitter.

Maybe now there won't be any objections to wearing jeans in India. Ramdev, some say, should even consider making sanskari skirts and dresses too.

Patanjali group, meanwhile, is set to take their brand outside India to international markets with their FMCG products and may also enter Pakistan and Afghanistan in future.

Speaking on future, there's no telling what Patanjali's next venture will be. But one thing is for sure, they just keep getting better at it
