Fire breaks out at Nokia's Chennai unit

A major fire broke out on Thursday in the paint unit of mobile phone major Nokia at Sriperumpudur, about 40 kms from Chennai, officials said.

"The fire started from the paint unit of Nokia this morning and we are trying to douse it", Divisional Fire Officer Parthiban said.

However, there were no reports of any casualty so far, he said.
