"Very important to connect people in India," said Zuckerberg , who was interacting with students at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in New Delhi.
"India is one of the countries where you cannot connect the world without connecting India."
He also said he was very excited to be here and, "the energy here is awesome".
