
Micro-lender SKS Microfinance has completed seventh round of asset securitisation worth Rs 158.27 crore in the current financial year.
Prior to this SKS had securitized Rs 222.65-crore on February 11, a statement said, adding that with the latest deal, the company had completed Rs 1,108.29 crore of securitisation this financial year.
The statement further said the company has downloaded the receivables from micro loans extended to over 1,80,000 rural women entrepreneurs to a special purpose vehicle, and pass through certificates have been purchased by a major private sector bank.
The entire pool qualifies for priority sector treatment according to the Reserve Bank of India's priority sector lending guidelines.
