
Tata Motors on Monday reported 2 per cent increase in total sales at 41,720 units in November, as against 40,863 units in the corresponding period of 2013.
Domestic sales of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles remained flat at 37,427 units as compared to the year-ago period, Tata Motors said in a statement.
In the commercial vehicles segment, Tata Motors' domestic sales fell by 5 per cent to 25,406 units during the reporting month from 26,816 units in November 2013.
Domestic sales of passenger vehicles in November 2014 climbed up by 16 per cent to 12,021 units, from 10,376 units in the year-ago period.
The home-grown auto major's exports during November rose by 17 per cent to 4,293 units, as compared to 3,671 units in the year-ago month.
