United Spirits, which is now controlled by Diageo Plc, said that it does not expect the discontinuation of manufacturing activities at the Hooghly unit to have any significant impact on the operations of the company.
All the issues pertaining to employees and workmen have been amicably settled in accordance with law, the company added.
