The pre-diwali sales showed an immense potential forecommerce websites and companies like Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal havecashed-in the festive mood of the country. Considering the incredible sales,most ecommerce giants are coming back with another round of sales.Flipkart, Amazon India, Snapdeal and even newer players like Tata Cliq will be offeringDiwali sales.

So far, Flipkart and Amazon have announced their sales whichwill be conducted between October 25 and October 28. Flipkart's Big Diwali Salewill be focussing on Electronics, smartphones and fashion. During the first,Big Billion sale Flipkart registered a sale of 15.5 million products incomparison to Amazon India's 15 million.

Amazon too, will be continuing with the Great Indian festiveseason with sales on almost all categories including large appliances and smartphones. Amazon'sGreat Festive Season sale will have both, normal deals and lightening deals.Users can also avail additional 15 per cent discount with the use of SBI debitor credit cards.

Both Flipkart and Amazon are expecting a high average salethis month. Flipkart has witnessed 5-9 times more sale during the initial 5 days ofthe Big Billion Day sale. The company is aiming at an monthly average of atleast 4 times the usual sale.

So far, the combined sales of all three major ecommercewebsites, Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal sumed up to Rs 6,500 crore, which isalmost 20 per cent higher than last year's sale. With one final round to go,this year will register much higher sales as compared to the previous twoyears.
