External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has over 5.5 million followers on Twitter. Her Twitter handle @SushmaSwaraj makes her the most followed female world leader.

She has proven her worth as an able Cabinet minister in the last two years of her term. But it is her constant activity on social media through her Twitter account that has created more buzz.

Here are a few occasions when she showed her witty side on Twitter:

1. Few days back, Faizan Patel, a Mangalore-based photographer, tweeted that his wife lost her passport just two days before their honeymoon trip to Italy.

He followed it up with another tweet yesterday tagging the Indian foreign minister.

And guess what, Swaraj actually came to their rescue.

2. A few months earlier, Sushma Swaraj tweeted a hilarious but honest reply to a guy who wanted his defective refrigerator replaced. The guy, named Venkat on Twitter, tagged Ram Vilas Paswan and Swaraj in the tweet.

Funnily enough, Swaraj quickly responded expressing her helplessness.

3. Swaraj was once again at her best during the cabinet reschuffle. Swaraj, who did not attend the event, made her presence felt quite interestingly.

Her tweet garnered a lot of praise with even journalist Barkha Dutt admiring her.

4. Sushma Swaraj also gives her followers a reason to cheer every now and then by posting pictures from her past. She first shared a wedding pic with husband Swaraj Kaushal, senior Supreme Court lawyer.

She also posted a picture of her taking oath as the youngest ever Cabinet Minister in the country in 1977 at the age of 25.
