Telangana government launches its own logo

In the corporate world, a logo is meant to convey a brand promise. The logo of the government of the new Telangana state , which will come into existence on June 2, has a picture of the Kakatiya arch or the Warangal gate respresenting the Kakatiya dynasty that ruled the region before it came under the Delhi Sultanate.

It also has the more than 400 year old Charminar in Hyderabad. As is apparent, what is highlighted is the rich cultural history of the region and perhaps through it a promise to build on it.

All eyes will now be on the future and on what the new government does as it gets down to work.
