
Aamir Khan starrer Dangal is on its way to become the prestigeous member of Rs 300 crore club. Though, the film has already achieved this milestone worldwide, at home screens it has collected Rs 270.47 crore till Sunday.
In its second week, the movie crossed Rs 250 crore bencmark. According to the figures tweeted by trade expert Taran Adarsh, on Friday it earned Rs 18.59 crore, on Saturday the film collected Rs 23.07 crore and on Sunday it did a business of Rs 31.27 crore.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal has already become the second highest grosser of 2016. Salman Khan's Sultan is still ruling the list with a total domestic collection of Rs 300.45 crore.
Smashing all the records at the box office, the film collected Rs 250 crore in just 10 days.

It had entered the Rs 100-crore club in the first three days of its release, with a strong performance in the opening weekend.
Dangal is inspired from a the real life story of female Indian wrestlers and sisters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari.
The film shows the lengths to which Geeta and Babita's father Mahavir Singh Phogat, who himself was a wrestler, goes to train his daughters in Harayana where women wrestlers were earlier unheard of.
