Mahesh Babu's father hospitalised after cardiac arrest; fans pray for speedy recovery

Telegu superstar and actor Mahesh Babu's father Krishna is admitted to the Continental Hospital in Hyderabad after suffering cardiac arrest. Krishna was brought to the Continental Hospital around 2 pm on November 14 in an unconscious state. After performing 20 minutes of CPR, doctors have resuscitated him. He was moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as his vitals stabilised.

While interacting with the media sometime back, the doctors confirmed that he was critical and that the hospital team was doing the best they could. Mahesh Babu arrived at the hospital to be by his father's side.

The doctors revealed that the next 24 hours would crucial and the team would monitor the 79-year-old's with the utmost care.

The health bulletin released around 1:50 pm stated that the he was in a critical condition and had been put on a ventilator.

Former Telugu director and producer Superstar Krishna acted in over 350 films. Krishna was honoured with the Padma Bhushan in 2009 for his contribution to Indian cinema.

Actor R Sarath Kumar said that he was saddened to hear the legendary actor had been hospitalised, "We all will pray for his speedy recovery," he said.

Fans took to social media to pray for his speedy recovery.
