Salman Khan's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo earns Rs 132.50 crore in 5 days

Salman Khan's latest flick Prem Ratan Dhan Payo gave a stellar performance at the Bollywood box office with a record breaking collection at Rs 132.50 crore in mere five days, says boxofficeindia.com

The movie starring Salman Khan -Sonam Kapoor is co-produced by Rajshri Productions and Fox Star Studios, and has been directed by Sooraj Barjataya.

It released in 4,600 screens across the country. The film has been released in three languages - Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The Diwali launch gave a good start to the movie. It earned Thursday - Rs 39 crore on the first day (Thursday) itself, on the second day (Friday) it earned Rs 29.25 crore, third day (Saturday) it made Rs 28.25 crore, fourth day (Sunday) Rs 25.75 crore and fifth day (Monday) Rs 10.75 crore which makes a total of Rs 132.50 crore in mere five days.

The film also features Anupam Kher, Swara Bhaskar, Armaan Kohli and Neil Nitin Mukesh. 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' narrates the story of a royal family and how an outsider, Prem, played by Salman, tries to mend the broken bridges of the family.
