Jab Tak Hai Jaan trumps Son Of Sardaar at box office

Jab Tak Hai Jaan's strong performance at the box office has taken it to the fourth place in the list of highest Bollywood grossers in the opening week.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan's collections have totaled around Rs 148 crore worldwide in its first seven days. Salman Khan starrer Ek Tha Tiger tops the list of list of highest grossers worldwide in the first week with Rs 208 crore. It is followed by Bodyguard at Rs 167 crore and Ra.One at Rs 165 crore.

Another movie, Son Of Sardaar, which was released alongside Jab Tak Hai Jaan on Tuesday collected around Rs 97 crore in opening week worldwide.

In the domestic market, Jab Tak Hai Jaan's box office performance has held up better in areas dominated by multiplexes as compared to zones with mostly single screen theatres. Jab Tak Hai Jaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, was made on a budget of around Rs 50 crore.
