Kai Po Che, the big screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel 'The 3 Mistakes of My Life' is earning big profits at the
domestic box office .

Kai Po Che! stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Amit Sadh and Raj Kumar Yadav.
Made at a budget of Rs 12 crore, the Abhishek Kapoor-directed movie has so far collected Rs 27 crore. The film, which released on February 22, was released on 1,000 screens across the country.
"The film is holding steady on weekdays and we see it growing again over the second weekend," Gaurav Verma, director - India theatrical distribution, Studios, Disney UTV, said in a statement.
Kai Po Che! collected Rs 6.25 crore and Rs 7.35 crore on the Saturday and Sunday after its release.
In the overseas market, the film was released in a total of 250 screens, including 109 in the US, 54 in Britain, 35 in the Gulf regin, and 12 in Australia.
The film has so far raked in over Rs 6.5 crore ($12,11,620) in the overseas market.
Kai Po Che! collected $572,954 and $163,666 in the US and Britain market, respectively, while in the Gulf it collected approximately $305,000. Rest of the world collections for the movie were about $170,000.

positive word of mouth in all overseas markets. We are very happy to see a movie of this genre with new cast perform well in theatres across the world. Our marketing efforts and the word of mouth on the movie have made this happen," said Amrita Pandey, Executive Director - Syndication, International Distribution and Disney Media Distribution, Studios, Disney UTV.
