Singham Returns collections reach Rs 32 cr on first day, beat Kick

The movie posted huge collections in North India, with East Punjab at the level of Kick and Delhi/UP easily surpassing Kick. North India saw the movie having a bigger opening than Rohit Shetty's last film Chennai Express.

Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor starrer Singham Returns broken all boxoffice record of 2014 in terms of its first day collections. The movie saw extraordinary occupancies of 60% plus through the whole day in single screens and multiplexes.
 
The movie collected Rs 32.09 crore on Friday.

The film has set new records in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra.

While 'Singham Returns' was released on over 4,000 screens worldwide, including 3,600 screens in India, 'Kick' opened in 3,800 theatres nation-wide.
