PK box office collections reach Rs 305 crore in 17 days

Aamir Khan starrer PK has become the highest earning movie (domestic collections) in India.

The movie collected Rs 305 crore in 17 days, according to boxofficeindia.com.

PK earned Rs 27.5 crore in its third weekend to reach the 300 crore mark. The movie looks set to touch the Rs 350-crore mark with record Rs 40 crore collection estimated in the third week.

Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films, in association with Disney India, released 'PK' on December 19.

Featuring Khan as an alien, the film takes a hard hitting swipe at organised religion, god and godmen, "stirring thought and discussion".

The film also stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjay Dutt.
