Create a stir: make a wasabi martini

If it's summer, it's time to get yourself a juicy martini. Bored of the classic and fruit flavoured versions? Then get adventurous and make yourself a wasabi martini. For a single portion, all you need is 60 ml of the best vodka, 60 ml of sweet and sour mix and 5 grams of wasabi paste (the mix and paste are easily available in supermarkets). Chill a martini glass in the freezer or ice box.

Next shake all the three ingredients well with ice, and pour in a pre-chilled glass. Ensure the wasabi paste is smooth and has no fibres left once it's mixed and that you use top grade ingredients. The mix should cut the pungent wasabi flavour while ensuring that its tantalising taste comes right through. Voila, you have a sure shot recipe for fire and ice!
