Why it’s super cool: You might want to buy this really nice TV with great picture quality. And it’s a HDTV to boot. There’s a slight hitch though. The TV is being valued at approximately Rs 60 lakh. We are talking about the diamond-encrusted Ambilight LCD HDTV from Philips. It features a stunning 2,250 diamonds, set on the edges of the TV.

How much: Rs 60 lakh

The BMW M3 COUPE
Why it’s super cool: BMW has promised that it will bring the next iteration of the immensely popular M3 coupe to India next year. The car will be showcased in January’s Auto Expo in New Delhi. The car has a mother of an engine, a massive 3999cc V8 which produces a stomach-churning 414 horsepower/309 kilowatts. It has an electronically restricted top speed of 250kmph and manages to hit 100kmph in 4.8 seconds.

How much: More than Rs 60 lakh

THE HYPOXI TRAINER
Why it’s super cool: It uses vacuum therapy to accelerate results. The machine works on a combination of three therapies: First, the application of low pressure vacuum blood is drawn into dermal layer and fat tissue allowing it to burn fat and transport out toxins from the problem areas. This is followed by the application of high pressure compression therapy to push the toxins and fat tissue out into the circulatory system to the muscles to be burnt off as fuel. These two therapies are then combined with exercise to give faster and better results by using a Hypoxi Pressure Suit. Hypoxi trainers are at absolute cutting edge of technology right now and as you can imagine they don’t come cheap.

How much: £40,000 upwards (Rs 32 lakh approx.) plus import duty.

Why it’s super cool: Yamaha Motor Company is all set to introduce two high-end bikes, the YZF-R1 and MT01, which will each sell for Rs 10 lakh or more in a bid to rev up its brand and boost sales in the world's second-largest two-wheeler market. The products will cost as much as top-end sedans such as Skoda Ambiente and Honda Civic. Yamaha Motor India will import these models as fully built units from Japan and is aiming to sell less than 100 units a year.

How much: Over Rs 10 lakh

SAMSUNG 70’’ HD LCD.
This mammoth 70’’ LCD comes with the LED SmartLighting technology.
Why it’s super cool: The SmartLighting technology seeks to underscore Samsung’s green heart. It senses the TV signal and automatically adjusts the brightness level by turning on and off the combination of backlight units. This way, it creates a breathtaking dynamic contrast ratio of 500,000:1. The TV also uses 30 per cent less power than other LCD sets. Apart from this, the TV’s TruSurround XT stereo system comes with two subwoofers that are hidden from view.  

How much: Rs 24 lakh

The Ballon watches are the latest offerings from the house of Cartier. With a large face that resembles a man’s watch, Ballon Bleu de Cartier is for the woman who’s not afraid to show her strength.
How much: With its diffracted roundness, extra-blue winding mechanism, and elliptical profile, the Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch draws a line between the past and future, between what we know and what we would like to know about the universe and time. It’s an 18 carat rhodiumplated white gold case set in diamonds. The 18 carat rhodium-plated white gold fluted crown, decorated with a blue sapphire cabochon adds to the effect.
