Prepare for a cross-dimensional and thought provoking movie experience
Prepare for a cross-dimensional and thought provoking experience with Malick's next.

Once every few years or even decades, writer and director Terrence Malick (Badlands, 1973; Days of Heaven, 1978; The Thin Red Line, 1998) creates a cinematic masterpiece for the audiences - films that are like the concave mirror of a creative power that seldom flashes over the big screen but seems to stay there forever when it does.
Produced as a collaborative effort by Plan B Entertainment and River Road Entertainment, Tree Of Life is without doubt the film to watch out for this year. Here, Malick has added a cosmic dimension to his usually earthbound style, creating a story that promises to take us on a journey way beyond our corporeal existence.
At first sight, the story's message of "unselfish love" is anything but unique, and the Tree Of Life is a symbol of religious mysticism that has inspired many writers and poets, as well as filmmakers over the years. Like many Malick films, this one too has had a long gestation; Brad Pitt had announced his decision to produce it way back in 2007. For now, the expectations from this Pitt-Sean Penn-Jessica Chastain starrer are huge. Keep your fingers crossed.
Mission impossible 4
Tom Cruise is back yet again as super spy Ethan Hunt in the next Mission Impossible. This time he's got a bigger team with Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner joining the cast along with Josh Holloway. Not much is known about the international story of Ghost Protocol but we do know it's a planned start to a new trilogy with Renner taking over as the franchise's lead character.
Cowboys & aliens
2011's most unique blockbuster, the genre-mixing Cowboys & Aliens takes its Western feel very seriously, blending in the horror of an alien invasion. Starring Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Sam Rockwell and Olivia Wilde, it's hard to go wrong with Jon Favreau working off a script worked on by Bob Orci, Alex Kurtzman, Damon Lindelof, Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby.
