Pro-Ject RPM 10

Pro-Ject has been making some fine turntables for many years now. This one, the latest in its line, is a manual turntable that looks totally futuristic while you enjoy those old soul records from the seventies. It has a quiet-running AC motor pulley device that rotates the spindle. The headshell and armtube are made from carbon-fibre and the arm-tube’s 10’’ length reduces any errors in playing. You can play both 33 RPM and 45 RPM records on this one.

This baby’s good whether you want to give your LPs a good spin or you want to use it as a DJ. Probably due to its distinctly retro look, it is also called the “Grandmaster”. This is another of those turntables that allows you to save the LP tracks as MP3s. If DJ-ing is not your thing, just enjoy the rich sound thanks to the digital pitch control and great skip resistance.

Another great turntable from Pro-Ject, this sleek but conventional looking record player, it has one advantage—a USB port that allows you to preserve your LPs by transferring them onto a computer as MP3 files. It plays 33 RPM, 45 RPM and 78 RPM records and has inputs for phono amplifiers.
