DU's Department of Financial Studies offers intensive finance programme

Priyamvada Jha, a 2013-15 batch student at the Department of Financial Studies (DFS), had offers from IMT Ghaziabad, Delhi School of Economics, and IMI Delhi, among other institutes. The Ranchi native, however, opted for DFS.
"With just 40 students in a batch, every student gets better attention from the faculty and also the placements prospects improve. Usually, business schools have batches of 300 to 400 students, so placements become difficult and highly competitive."
