BT More gives you tips to avoid foul smelling feet.
SALT WATER
Salt is known to pull moisture out of our skin, thereby reducing the amount of bacteria that can survive there. Dissolve 6-8 tablespoons of kosher or table salt in a large vessel filled with warm water and soak your feet in it for 20 to 60 minutes. Do this for two weeks at a stretch and you'll notice the difference.
VINEGAR
Thanks to its drying qualities, vinegar is excellent for creating an inhospitable environment for bacteria, starving them to death. Mix one-part vinegar with two-parts water and soak your feet in it for 30 minutes a day. A week of doing this will bring about a considerable change in the way your feet smell.
BLACK TEA
Besides being an incentive to wake up at 6 am, black tea does a great job with ridding your feet of foul smells. The acid in the beverage closes the pores of your skin, thereby preventing your feet from sweating profusely. Black tea is also a natural antibiotic that kills the bacteria. Add two tea bags to 500 ml of warm water and boil it for 15 minutes. Add two cups of cold water and pour the mix in a tub. Soaking your feet once a day for 30 minutes is enough to get rid of feet stink.
BAKING SODA
Baking soda can be quite the wonder worker, whether it's for controlling odour, killing bacteria or softening the feet. Mix half a cup of baking soda in 7-8 cups of lukewarm water and soak your feet in it for 30 minutes everyday. You can even squeeze some lemon juice into it.
LAVENDER OIL
Besides being great at killing bacteria and eliminating fungus, lavender oil leaves your feet smelling like a bouquet. Add a few drops of lavender oil to warm water and soak your feet in it for 20 to 30 minutes a day.
