1. Your dress shirt should have extralong French or double cuffs, with no buttons and a pair of holes on either side, adding up to a set of four holes on each cuff

2. Fold the cuffs back, making sure they form a neat and even line at the end of the sleeves. When the two sides lie flat away from the wrist, hold it pressed together

3. Push the cufflink with its swivel bar closed through the overlapping holes. The decorative part of the cufflink should be facing outwards.

4. Push the swivel bar open to fasten the cufflink and complete the T shape. The cuff links are securely fastened when the T-shape is completely flat
