BT-Carma CEO watch

Ratan Tata
Ratan Tata was once again in the limelight for the succession drama unfolding at the Tata group. His decision to opt out of the search committee appointed to choose his successor got him the maximum space in the pink papers. A couple of other heavyweight CEOs also made it to our Top 10, because of succession issues. S. Gopalakrishnan of Infosys was the sixth most written-about CEO following speculation that he would replace N.R. Narayana Murthy as chairman once he steps down as the CEO in 2012. L&T's A.M. Naik was in the limelight for his statement that the process to cherry-pick his successor is already under way. He is at the Number Eight slot.
