CBI enquiry against C.B. Bhave: Who said what

If CBI finds that it erred in filing such an enquiry and in giving it publicity without carrying out proper diligence, then the director must apologise: C.B. Bhave, former Chairman, Sebi, in The Economic Times
The agency has enough credible information to initiate a PE (preliminary enquiry) against Bhave and [K.M.] Abraham. It would be closed if nothing was found against them: Ranjit Sinha, Director, Central Bureau of Investigation, in The Economic Times
I don't think the entire facts are yet before the CBI. The original licence granted to MCX-SX was only to deal in currency futures. It was not a licence to deal in equity: P. Chidambaram, Union Finance Minister, in The Indian Express
I think this entire action of trying to second guess decisions taken five years afterwards is not good for the business climate in India: G.K. Pillai, former Home Secretary and ex-Chairman, MCX-SX, to wire agencies
I have not known anyone as clean as Mr Bhave. I have worked with him in different capacities. He is as clean as a whistle: Deepak Parekh, Chairman, HDFC Group, to wire agencies
