1. 2006 GVK Group bags the contract for modernising the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai
2. 2007 It consolidates its power, road and airport projects under GVK Power & Infrastructure Ltd, or GVK PIL.
3. 2009 GVK PIL acquires a 29% stake in Bengaluru International Airport Ltd by buying out Zurich Airport's 12% stake and L&T's 17% stake.
4. January 2011 The group signs two MoUs with the Government of Indonesia to develop greenfield international airports in Bali and Java.
5. March 2011 It raises its stake in Mumbai International Airport Ltd by an additional 13.5% to take its holding to over 50%.
