The Big Picture

An entry-level DSLR with a 24.2 megapixel (MP) DX-format CMOS image sensor is rare. Entry-level cameras rarely have such high resolution. Indeed, the Nikon D3200 is currently the only one of its kind. It is ultra lightweight, weighing just 505 gm, and has a viewfinder as well as a three-inch LCD monitor which you can use for live views and for shooting videos. The new sensor completely obliterates background noise. You can crop any part of the frame to make a highresolution picture. It is also high speed, thanks to the EXPEED 3 image-processing engine. There are loads of other features that make it ideal for beginners.
+ve: 24 megapixel sensor, Easy to use
-ve: A bit too light, No dedicated ISO button
