With all the hype and hoopla around the World Cup and mobile number portability, or MNP, corporate India was expected to launch high decibel promotional campaigns around these events. However, the ICC campaign features at the number nine spot and Vodafone is the only telecom company whose MNP ad makes it to our list (at number three). Hindustan Unilever's Surf Excel is at number one as the company makes a concerted effort to make deeper inroads into the detergent powder market.
